Data is not verified before being uploaded. However, there are several verification mechanisms:

The acceslibre team regularly performs random checks on entered data and user accounts.

Following the principle of collaboration, data is checked and updated by successive contributors to the sheets.

There is a subscription to a card feature. The subscriber will be notified of any changes made to the form to which he is subscribed.

It is possible to report a malice. The malicious account will be banned by the team and the information it created will be deleted.

Contribution

In this case, “the entry” to be described in acceslibre is the mall entrance, not the facility's one. The ERP entry corresponds to the “Reception” part in acceslibre. Acceslibre allows to describe the path between the entrance and the reception which allows to describe well the access to the establishment, the interior of the shopping center.

Photo addition tool: when to validate a photo?

The photos come from the Panoramax database which works on the collaborative model. They were therefore taken by non-professionals with different devices, which results in variable photo formats and qualities. For example, some photos are taken with a 360° camera but others are classic photos with a limited angle.

To validate a photo, it must allow the entrance of the establishment to be seen in a clear manner so that it provides information. If the photo is too blurry or there is a vehicle that masks the entrance, it will not be useful to add this photo.

Can I import a photo?

It is not possible to import photos into Acceslibre.

Acceslibre uses Panoramax to have photos, which are blurred and checked by Panoramax. To add a photo on Panoramax, go here.

Our photo addition tool does not yet allow you to select a particular establishment to associate a photo with, but this will soon be the case!

What if the establishment I see in the photo, at the correct address, is not the one indicated?

If the photo does not match the institution, there is a strong chance that the Acceslibre institution has closed. In this case, you can either update the listing of the establishment or ask us to delete the listing.

Can I choose a city so that the tool offers me to add photos of the establishments in this particular city?

No, the tool does not yet allow you to choose institutions in a particular territory. We have chosen, for this first step of the project to add photos in Acceslibre, to offer you establishments in 4 cities particularly well covered in Panoramax photo: Caen, Lille, Lyon and Strasbourg.

Prefer the main entrance

if there is a main entrance and one or more accessible secondary entrances, the main entrance should be preferred and more information on the secondary entrance must be given in the "comments" box of the question "Specific PMR entry"

If the entries are similar, point to the most used

Some buildings have one or more paths to the main entrance from the road system. The path to describe is the most used path from the road (usually a sidewalk) to the front door, or where there is a parking space and an appropriate parking space associated with the facility, the path from this parking lot to the front door.

It is strongly recommended to comment at the end of the form which path is described and possibly describe other paths, especially if there is an accessible path.

In this case, the “entry” to be described in acceslibre is the building’s entrance, not the facility's one. The ERP entry corresponds to the “Reception” part in acceslibre. Acceslibre describes the path between the entrance and the reception. This corresponds to the path through the common areas of the building and which allows a good description of access to the establishment.

This is usually a problem with the address. Indeed, we use the National Address Database to recognize and geolocalize the addresses entered. This is the official postal address database that will eventually be used by all.

What to do?

You must then go to the national address website: https://adresse.data.gouv.fr/ and find the address on this site closest to your real address;

In acceslibre, enter this official address and move the cursor to place it at the exact entry of your institution;

Report it on https://adresse.data.gouv.fr/contribuer to add this address to the official national database of addresses.

Once your address is integrated into the national address database, you can edit your establishment record in acceslibre to enter the exact address.

Data access

Yes, our data set is free and royalty-free.

You can download the results of a search using the "Export results" button.

This export is limited to 40,000 establishments. If the search result exceeds 40,000, the export will not be performed, which will be indicated in the error message.

Tip: zoom in or move the map to limit the number of establishments in the results.

You have access to the complete dataset of Acceslibre which is published daily on the site:

https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/accessibilite-des-etablissements-recevant-du-public-erp-pour-les-personnes-en-situation-de-handicap/

The data is also made available via our API.

I can download the results of a search using the "Export results" button.

The export file is sent by email a few minutes after you request it. Its format is .csv. To open this file correctly:

- Libre office calc: when opened, a window will appear in which you can define the encoding: choose "UTF-8" and the separator: choose "comma";

- Excel: Open Excel, click on "File", then "Import" and select "CSV File" or on a newer version of Excel click on "Data"

A window will open that allows you to adjust the encoding parameters, choose "UTF-8" and the separator: choose "comma".
